Sylomer
Sylomer is a sophisticated polyurethane material (PU) with an even balance of resilience and damping characteristics. Thanks to this exceptional combination, Sylomer effectively reduces vibration and related structure-borne noise everywhere from railway lines to buildings or machinery. Sylomer features an open-celled structure and is highly elastic; its long-term behaviour is scientifically proven and the material's effectiveness has been tried and tested over decades. The Sylomer series contains a wide range of different product types, ensuring the perfect solution can be selected for the respective load situation – and no matter how challenging the technical conditions. Specially developed for safety-critical applications, the flame-retardant variant Sylomer FR meets the highest fire classification HL3 (Hazard Level 3) in accordance with EN 45545-2.
