Sylodyn

Sylodyn is the next stage in the evolution of the proven Sylomer material and boasts a higher degree of dynamic stiffness paired with significantly reduced internal damping. The material is a great fit for any application requiring precise vibration isolation in combination with a high load, such as on high-speed railway lines or with highly sensitive technical equipment. In addition to its high dynamic load capacity, the closed cellular structure of Sylodyn means it does not absorb any water – a critical factor when it comes to vibration-isolated bedding of building foundations. The Sylodyn HRB (high resilient bearing) series was developed for extreme loads in confined spaces, such as crane installations, steel structures and heavy machinery. Sylodyn is also particularly effective when used to insulate impact noise and for acoustic decoupling between walls, ceilings and floors.
