Overlap Tape
Overlap Tape (Cinta de Solape) is a flexible tape used to seal the joints between IMPACTODAN® membranes.
The self-adhesive overlapping band is composed of cross-linked polyethylene foam, 3 mm thick and 70 mm wide. It is used as an auxiliary product when installing the Impactodan solution for decks — it ensures a correct overlapping between Impactodan rolls, avoiding acoustic short-circuits that could reduce insulation effectiveness.
It is used to seal the joints between two Impactodan sheets and can be used for lining installations that have to pass through the floating mortar.
Durable
It does not react to attacks from micro-organisms, ensuring its durability over time.
System continuity
Made of the same raw material as IMPACTODAN, it provides continuity to the impact-noise damping system.
Avoids acoustic bridges
Seals IMPACTODAN overlaps and avoids acoustic short-circuits that could reduce insulation effectiveness.
Underfloor-heating compatible
Its good thermal conductivity makes it ideal in radiant heating systems, avoiding thermal bridges in the joints.
