ZIPS 4: Silent Walls Made Easy
Finally, Quiet. The Advanced Dry-Fit Soundproofing Solution.
ZIPS-4 sound-insulating panel system consists of the ZIPS-4 panels and the finishing plasterboard layer. ZIPS-4 system with a function of surface leveling is used during construction and renovation of buildings of any type to increase soundproofing of single-layer civil structures: gypsum, brick and concrete walls, partitions, as well as reinforced concrete floor slabs. The maximum surface unevenness that can be leveled with ZIPS-4 system is 50 mm (2 in).

Additional Sound Insulation for Walls and Ceilings of up to 19 dB
The absence of rigid connections and the use of lightweight sound-absorbing and heavy sound-reflecting layers in the panel combined with Sylomer's unique vibration joints and elastic supports provide an effective reduction in sound wave transmission.
Additional airborne sound isolation value for ZIPS-4 is from 16 to 19 dB.

How It Works (The Simple Science)
The ZIPS-4 is built around a powerful 50 mm thick "sandwich" panel. This panel uses a proven layering technique: a combination of a rigid, heavy layer (gypsum fiber board) and a soft, resilient layer (glass fiber) to absorb a wide range of sound frequencies.

The core technology lies in the 8 integrated Sylomer® elastomer supports. These patented supports decouple the soundproofing panel from your actual floor structure, ensuring that vibrations (the source of noise) are stopped right at the source, giving you maximum sound isolation performance.
